Members of President Donald Trump’s “Board of Peace,” the committee that will oversee the reconstruction of Gaza, will receive a permanent seat if they pay $1 billion, according to a US official.

Many questions are swirling around the Trump-led Board of Peace, which was originally billed as a committee that would oversee the rebuilding and reconstruction of Gaza.

The Wake County school board is set to talk about tight finances Tuesday during a committee meeting. The school system told board members in December that budget cuts are a certainty next year. A drop in enrollment and rising costs are big reasons for cost-cutting. The superintendent plans to propose a budget for next year later this spring.
