The credit card industry went into high gear over the weekend following a social media post from President Donald Trump calling for a 10% cap on interest rates.

A recent suggestion by President Donald Trump directed at credit card companies to reduce interest rates to 10% by Jan. 10 has come and gone without rates moving.
