COLUMBUS, Ohio — During one of the slowest times on the college football calendar, Ohio State’s coaching staff is busy on the recruiting trail. Recently, the Buckeyes have sent out a handful of offers for members of the 2027 and 2028 recruiting classes as winter conditioning takes place on campus.
5-star running back Kemon Spell told Hayes Fawcett of Rivals.com on Monday that he is committing to Georgia over offers from Penn State, Notre Dame, Ohio State and Miami. Spell is the No. 1 running back and No. 7 overall player in the 2027 class, per 247Sports' composite.
He's one of the best rated recruits.
