A bomb cyclone hit North Carolina with heavy snow, 60+ mph winds, and whiteout conditions. Viral videos showed the storm pounding the Outer Banks, where some areas got up to 15 inches of snow. Thousands faced power outages,

A person was seen snowboarding through a neighborhood in Cincinnati, Ohio, after snow blanketed the area.
Hours before a winter storm was forecast to impact Southeast Georgia, snow was steadily falling in other parts of the state.
Florida is a winter escape, but for the next few days much of it will have below-freezing nights and the Tampa Bay area might even see snowflakes for the first time in over a decade.
The Ohio Department of Transportation shared video on Monday, showing a snow plow escorting an ambulance and other first responders during an emergency.
