I'm planning on installing a second hard drive on a friend's computer the currently boots XP Home. I'm planning on installing SuSe 8.0 on the new hard drive but I've never done the dual boot thing.
Its probably just the boot order. Go into the BIOS and make sure its trying to boot from the correct hard drive first. If you aren't sure what drive you are supposed to boot from, just switch whatever ...
