Join us at the Skills Demonstration and Career Expo this Wednesday, January 10, from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the Stringfellow Unit in Rosharon! Inmates will have the opportunity to highlight their skills to second-chance employers and media in the fields of culinary arts 👨‍🍳, electrical work 💡, welding ⛓️, and truck driving 🚛. Other activities include tours of classrooms and mechanical shops. Attendees will also be able to interact with individuals who are close to returning to their communities.

Former Huntsville Unit Senior Warden Jack Pursley served in that role at the historic Huntsville “Walls” Unit for 15 years, longer than anyone in the long history of TDCJ.
