The Everly Brothers — Don (right) and Phil — perform “Walk Right Back” on “The Ford Show,” in 1961, the year they hit the pop Top Ten with the song. The brothers were part of a rare breed as members of both the Country Music Hall of Fame (inducted 2001) and the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame (1986). “Walk Right Back” was written by their good friend Sonny Curtis, a member of Buddy Holly’s Crickets.
