The Supreme Court announced on Monday it will not reconsider its ruling on same sex marriage. Former Kentucky County clerk Kim Davis had appealed the court’s 2015 ruling that the 14th Amendment guarantees same-sex couples the right to marry, effectively legalizing same-sex marriage at the federal level.
