Sarawak will roll out the Free Tertiary Education Scheme (FTES) in January 2026, backed by an allocation of RM250 million from the state government. The scheme will be offered at four Sarawak-owned institutions, covering 64 approved courses. The full list will be announced in December 2025. Eligible students from households earning RM1,500 per capita or below will also receive a RM15,000 stipend, with RM5,000 channelled directly to campus housing for accommodation support. #FTES #Sarawak2026 #Fr
