Solar Eclipse Scale Model: the 3.3 inch Moon casts its shadow onto a 12 inch Earth globe as the Sun sets over the bluffs of the Central Coast. The Earth, Moon, and the distance between them (lunar orbit radius) are all to scale in this simulation of a solar eclipse.
