It’s been a while since I’ve done a report about Treetown. Before COVID, this place didn’t even exist — it was just a simple food court. But when the pandemic hit and Walking Street completely shut down, the foreign community (mostly Europeans and Americans) shifted to their old base on Soi Buakhao. That’s when Treetown quickly became the center of this expat nightlife, a spot where people could hang out away from the army’s scrutiny. Bars started popping up around the food court like mushrooms
